Marjal Pego‑Oliva Wetlands Natural Park is a vast, protected wetland spanning approximately 1,255 hectares across Pego and Oliva. Formed by the ancient closure of a coastal bay, it now combines marshes, rice paddies, dunes, and constant-flow rivers and springs, creating a visually striking and ecologically vital horseshoe landscape framed by the Mostalla, Migdia, and Segària mountains .
