A Subterranean Gem in La Vall d’Ebo

Hidden in the peaceful mountains of La Vall d’Ebo lies the Cueva del Rull, a stunning underground cave formed over millions of years. Discovered in 1919 by José Vicente “Tío Rull”, the cave offers visitors a chance to explore a magical world of stalactites, stalagmites, columns, and unique rock formations created by nature’s slow artistry.

The visit is guided, accessible, and perfect for families, hikers, and anyone curious about the hidden wonders beneath the Marina Alta.

Opening Hours

  • April – September: Every day, 10:30 – 20:30
  • March & October: Every day, 11:00 – 18:30
  • November – mid-January: Every day, 11:00 – 17:00
  • Closed from 15 January to 14 February, and on 1 January and 25 December

(Ticket sales close 30 minutes before the cave closes. Group visits should be booked in advance.)

  • Free entry for children under 3 years old

The cave is located along the CV-712 road, between kilometer 12 and 13, in the municipality of La Vall d’Ebo (Alicante).
