Tucked away between the steep cliffs of Benitachell, Cala Llebeig is a secluded, untouched cove that feels like a true escape from modern life. With its pebble shoreline, crystal-clear waters, and dramatic natural surroundings, it’s a favourite among hikers, nature lovers, and adventurous swimmers.

This small beach is only accessible on foot or by sea, making it one of the most exclusive and tranquil spots on the Costa Blanca.

What to Expect

  • No road access – only reachable via hiking trails or by kayak/boat
  • A pebble beach set in a small cove between rugged cliffs
  • No facilities: no bars, no sunbeds, no lifeguards – 100% natural

How to Get There

There are two main hiking routes to Cala Llebeig:

  • From Cumbre del Sol, follow the Ruta dels Penya-segats (Cliff Route), a scenic trail offering spectacular sea views.
  • From Cala Moraig, follow the Ruta de los Acantilados, which runs along the coastline. This route requires good shoes and a moderate fitness level.

Both routes take around 45 minutes to 1 hour depending on your pace and the weather.
