Barranc de l’Infern (Vall de Laguar) is an extraordinary natural gorge carved by the Girona River between the villages of Fleix, Benimaurell, and Vall de Ebo in Marina Alta. Known as the “Cathedral of Hiking”, this circular route spans approximately 13–15 km, including over 6,000 ancient stone steps built by Moriscos in the 17th century .
